Polk Audio RTi A5
$950.00
Released September, 2007
The Pros:Audiophile quality clarity, details are very clear. Construction is of real wood, has a solid feel, looks high quality. Sound is very warm, resonates well in the cabinet.
The Cons:Don't sound as good in the beginning as they do after they've been broken in - need some play time before they reach proper quality. Doesn't have full bass support, needs the assistance of a separate subwoofer. Some EQ adjustment needs to be made depending on your AV equipment to pair them properly.
Polk Audio's RTi A Series uses MDF wood in construction in order to provide sound aesthetics. The RTi A5 is a single, floorstanding speaker which retails as one individual unit. It features dual 6.5-inch dynamic balance mineral/polymer composite cone drivers and a 1-inch silk/polymer composite dome tweeter.
