Infinity ALPHA 50

The Infinity ALPHA 50 is a higher-end, 3-way, dual 8" floor-standing loudspeaker. Available in black, white, and cherry finishes, it utilizes "Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm" technology, which aims to reduce distortion and improve sound accuracy, in part by achieving greater driver cone stiffness.

The ALPHA 50 was released alongside the ALPHA 10 and 20 bookshelf speakers and the 2-way ALPHA 30, and is also a step above the ALPHA 40, which features only 6-1/2" low-frequency drivers. The ALPHA 50 offers a stronger bass response and a higher maximum power output. Gold-plated, bi-wirable binding posts are standard with both models, as is a 5-year parts-and-labor warranty.
