Energy Take TWR

$550.00 Released March, 2005

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Solid frequency response range, nothing really missing. Design is unobtrusive and blends in with the room's decor. Lighter than most towers, easy to move around and feasible to wall mount.

The Cons:Needs the support of a separate powered subwoofer to fill out the bass range. Needs a break-in period to really show its quality, will sound a little muffled at first. Can get higher quality towers at this price with better power output, poor value.

The Energy Take TWR is a 3-way tower speaker from Energy's mid-range Take Series and is suitable for medium to large-sized rooms.  The speaker is designed with a 1" chambered aluminum dome tweeter for accurate sound reproduction and four 4.5" cone woofers with elliptical surrounds and rear venting for powerful bass response.
