The Energy RC-70 is a 3-way floorstanding speaker from Energy's high-end Reference Connoisseur Series and is suitable for medium to large-sized rooms.  The speaker is designed with a 1" chambered aluminum dome tweeter for accurate sound reproduction and is a step up from the RC-50 since it includes a 5.5" Kevlar midrange for a wider frequency response.

  It also has dual 6.5" Kevlar cone woofers with ribbed elliptical surrounds and rear venting for powerful bass response.  The RC-70 offers an RMS power handling of up to 250 watts and a frequency response of 31Hz to 23kHz.  It features a 3-way crossover system and advanced sound engineering to ensure that all frequencies are produced with uniform sound, wide and constant dispersion, and low distortion.  The speaker is available in a rosenut or black ash veneer finish and comes with a spike kit and rubber bumpers to keep it in place on floor or carpet.
