The VE-8F's 1 1/4" silver mylar tweeter enables the speakers to produce high frequency sounds, as well as acoustic clarity. The tweeter also includes ferro fluid, which enhances the quality of the audio, also making the speakers more efficient in the process. The speakers also feature self resetting protection, which force the speakers to reset when they're about to overload, preventing any damage. The VE-8F features 150 watts of power, ensuring a loud maximum volume. When compared to another set of speakers by Cerwin Vega, the VE-15F, the VE-8F shows several inferior traits, including a weaker watt output (150 watts compared to 400 watts) and a worse frequency response time (32Hz to 20kHz compared to 26Hz to 20kHz).
